Ami Pepper
Jewellery
Ami Pepper’s unique sculptural jewellery explores the intricate cluster formations of shells. Inspired by childhood memories of beach combing along the Pembrokeshire coast, her pieces are meticulously hand carved, before being cast in precious metal and encrusted with precious stones to form her beautifully organic compositions.
Ami was born in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. She studied on the foundation course at Central Saint Martin's and went on to graduate with a BA Hons from the School of Jewellery in Birmingham in 2013. In 2015 Ami won a graduate bursary to exhibit at the UK's premier exhibition of fine contemporary jewellery at Goldsmiths Fair. Julia Peyton-Jones, the director of the Serpentine Galleries, selected Ami's work as one of the Fairs highlights, and the selected piece then sold to international jewellery collector Tuan Lee.
