Materials: Mixed metals reclaimed materials "Gracefully roving with clinking limbs Moved by guileless curiosity A pathfinder of peculiar terrain" ab Working alongside the ideas of Barbara Keal this doll was made to be an explorative companion within the exhibition. The body framework uses a combination of old and new technology including a pair of pliers a blender motor canisters sewing machine dials and bicycle parts. A hand carved lime wood face gives the piece its innocent inquisitive character necessary for its animated performance.
