Malcolm Ashman is a multi-disciplinary artist working in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography and sculpture. Worked up in oils, acrylics and pencil, his landscape paintings focus principally on places familiar to him, and explore ideas of inherited memory and the comfort of permanence.
Malcolm Ashman is an elected Royal West of England Academician, and is a member of the Royal Society of British Artists and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. His work has been exhibited as part of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Threadneedle Prize, the Derwent Drawing Prize and at the Royal Watercolour Society, Bankside Gallery, London.
