Art of Gathering

14th September 2019 - 12th October 2019

For the 2019 St Ives September Festival the New Craftsman Gallery will be showing the work of eight selected artists who use the act of gathering, collecting or harvesting materials as an integral part of their making process. Curated by Sarah Frangleton, the exhibition, Art of Gathering will include the work of Painters  Michael Porter and Francesca Owen, Sculptural Baskets by Joe Hogan and Annemarie O’Sullivan, Jewellery and Gathered Objects by Silversmith Stuart Cairns, Ceramics by Patricia Shone and new work by studio collective Forest and Found
